Brane Scan- "brane" being a term used in very advanced physics.

LG Orbifold- Term used in particle physics

Kalabi-Yau Model- Also used in physics...

Particle Ghost- ALSO USED IN PHYSICS

CP violation- Used in particle physics, if i remember, it has to do with a violation of the CP-Symmetry

actually, that wasnt an actual npc, its an itchyosaur from hl1, you can fight them in that game, the itchyosaur is just an entity in hl2, im sorry

An entirely scripted entity that doesn't do anything besides the lunge and exists only for the opening sequence to give the player a shock. People have made a version that's been given it some AI and allowed it to hurt you in Gmod, though, I believe.

The fish-thing? Icthyosaur or something. It's not actually working in HL2. Only its model is there, the animations and junk aren't fully completed. Might be more in Gmod.

This plays in the chapter Follow Freeman i think, at the part just before you enter the Citadel and you have a giant rooftop battle with several striders and combine crawling all over the ruined buildings that you and your rebel squad are moving through. Its a very intense scene, and this music goes great. Thanks, Valve.

If i recall correctly I think the devs referred to that area as Strider Alley. If I'm wrong, well, then that's the name I use for it at least.

I believe it plays in the next to last chapter just before you reach the citadel, It plays the moment you go through a hole in the wall leading outdoors, just before you enter the broken down car garage flooded with combine and striders.

This will be good with "You productions" Taking over franchise in 2010.They are going to take it in a new fresh direction. The story expands on the remaining combine soldiers retreating to western Europe to rebuild there forces by constructing huge factories. The rebels in Easter Europe have had the chance to build up too but when the combine counter attack put the rebels on the verge of defeat a space ship appears over the battlefield labeled U.E.A and the captain looks like G-Man. Wat u think?

I think it's tied with "Apprehension and Evasion" as the best song. But what really sells it for me is that eerie synth tune at 1:09-1:24 and again at 1:57.

couldnt agree more andy, apprehension and evasion was definitely tied with this song for best HL2 song although I think vortal kombat is a pretty damn close second from episode 2
