Bands like the Beatles, stones, AC/DC, Michael Jackson and Madonna are here to stay, but todays shitty music like the Jonnas Brothers, Marley Cyrus, Britney Spears and Boy Bands isnt real music! yeah. great music is inspiring and appealing to all. totally. :-) i just wanted to add though, that people within the same age group might like different things, like a 25 year old guy might love celtic music and be really excited about that, while his 25 year old friend loves ac/dc. or a 50 year old guy might be really inspired by mozart while his twin brother is thrilled about the rolling stones. but yeah, i think truly great, inspired music touches everyone somehow.

i totally understand what you are saying. too many ppl take advantage of music today. all forms of music should evoke some sort of emotion, no matter if its: happiness, sadness, anger, etc, it doesnt matter. most music today is just there and doesnt inspire or anything. its not memorable. also you can always tell when someone is innovative when more acts come out that sound very similar, cuz imitation is the best form of flattery. keep it up man, you go way over ppl heads.
