This breaks my Heart</3 My dad had to put my cat down 2 years ago. His liver exploded and there was nothing we could do for him. He was breathing weird. When i got home and i saw the grave site all dug and a box i never cried so much in my life. When i got off the bus i was Really looking forward to see him But i couldent see him alive. i am crying righting this. He was one of the best cats i have ever had i know some people wont read this whol thing but i just felt like sharing this

For all we know it may be the most painful experience in the world. we have vets from 4 animal hospitals working on Sir Noggin's treatment plan. Not only do they all believe we are doing the right thing, but they also all agree on the plan.
It must not have been an easy choice at first, but I'm glad you continued regardless. :)
And congratulations on the treatment for Sir Noggin. Here's hoping he does, in fact, get to live a long and happy life, and I think he will if he's got an owner willing to go above and beyond. :)
I'm so glad that you got the money together, i heard about this poor cat today and i really feel for him, he's not only superly cute, but he's also cute, and yeah ofcourse you can give away your money to bigger charity events, to Unicef, or some famous animal-help center, but this is just as important, it doesn't make any difference at all, Even if you would donate too some animal help center, they would put that money in the cat to, so it's no difference.

The video isn't a representation of him all the time, so that's stupid, though it's the road most would take and the easier path in many respects. We're working with an amazing team of vets who all want what is best for this happy, growing, learning, typical kitten. If he were in constant pain, I would not be fighting for him, however 28 days out of a month he is normal and happy as can be.

I know this is going to sound extremely mean for someone in your situation, but I hope you at least think about what I am going to say.
You need to find this cat another home.
I know you love him, its obvious, but you are being selfish by keeping a cat that needs treatment that you cant pay for. Instead of scrapping by it would be best to find another family that will love him just as much that can also pay for the care he needs to live a full life.
We've raised him over $2,200 so far for treatment, and we've also found somebody to donate the MRI, worth another $2,000. In this economy, I truly wonder how many people would give so much to a kitten. He has a great vet, a great home, and thanks to us and to the help of others, a great future. You don't sound mean; you sound uninformed. And I am far from selfish. It's free to adopt normal cats in NYC if they're over 3 years old, if I wanted a nice cheap pet, I'd have one.
I couldn't help but donate. Hope this succeeds and the treatment goes well, with many years of troublemaking for the little monkey to look forward to.

Hmmm...experimental idea here. If the vets went in and initially removed the cyst, but over the hole in his skull, place a plate made of plexiglass or sometihng, to protect it? It would be expensive prolly if its possible to do it. Its a random though I had, to help ease his pain. He is such a cutie! I hope things work out for him!!!

By all means now that you have him you should do everything you can to help but if he's going to be in constant pain for the rest of his life it was probably best to let the vet put him down ? just saying... would of been cheaper for you to rescue a cat from a shelter or something.
If you read the text in the video and the words in the video information, you will see that this is not how he spends the greater majority of his time. He is a happy, normal kitten 6 days out of the week, and there's a very treatable problem that makes him uncomfortable the other day. If he were in constant pain, we wouldn't let him suffer. However, I'm not going to put him down just because it's cheaper, when there are generous people who are willing to help. People have donated $200 so far.
And I hope you get all the money you need, It just seems like (as what happened in the movie) he could suddenly be in a lot of pain unpredictably or he could really injure himself while nobody is around to look after him. I have a cat myself, as well as several other exotic animals and I know a lot of pet owners disregard what is best for their pet just for their own entertainment or because they can't face the alternative, and I just hope that's not the case with this adorable chap.
When we adopted him we knew that things may take a turn for the worst and that we'd have to make the tough decision. However, we are working very closely with 2 vets to make sure we are doing what's best for him. I can only assure you. His next appointment is Saturday and we'll be looking at options to start fixing things.

I had a cat a few years ago that got sick. He was puking a lot and just wasn't right. I figured he was just under the weather like cats tend to be at times but the next day his pule was green. that's when I knew he was in trouble. NO ONE would help me when the vet said the needed treatment was about 400$. They had to put him to sleep. This is my opportunity to help where I can and I want to. This darling little kitten deserves a chance.
I made some money (more than I deserved) this summer by taking care of a cat while its only was away, so I'm giving some of that to Sir Noggin because he deserves to have everything this cat did. Also, my cat is a tuxedo cat too.

I don't know how Animals are but as humans when we are younger we can regenerate bone. Specifically in the skull. It would be an expensive surgery but maybe it would be possible for Sir Noggin. I take my hat off to you. Its good that he has a good home and people that love him.
We have an appointment with an ASPCA specialist vet on Saturday so we'll try to ask all the right questions. We don't have any extra money - even buying litter & the usual kitten stuff has to be carefully budgeted - but there are always people out there willing to help as long as you're willing to ask, I've found. Not gonna let pride stop me from doing everything I can for this guy.

I know you love him, its obvious, but you are being selfish by keeping a cat that needs treatment that you cant pay for. Instead of scrapping by it would be best to find another family that will love him just as much that can also pay for the care he needs to live a full life.

We've raised him over $2,200 so far for treatment, and we've also found somebody to donate the MRI, worth another $2,000. In this economy, I truly wonder how many people would give so much to a kitten. He has a great vet, a great home, and thanks to us and to the help of others, a great future. You don't sound mean; you sound uninformed. And I am far from selfish. It's free to adopt normal cats in NYC if they're over 3 years old, if I wanted a nice cheap pet, I'd have one.

The poor little lad. Is it possible for the cyst to be removed, and put a plate over the hole? Or will you have to wait for him to stop developing? Either way, i'll donate to him.

Hmmm...experimental idea here. If the vets went in and initially removed the cyst, but over the hole in his skull, place a plate made of plexiglass or sometihng, to protect it? It would be expensive prolly if its possible to do it. Its a random though I had, to help ease his pain. He is such a cutie! I hope things work out for him!!!

By all means now that you have him you should do everything you can to help but if he's going to be in constant pain for the rest of his life it was probably best to let the vet put him down ? just saying... would of been cheaper for you to rescue a cat from a shelter or something.

If you read the text in the video and the words in the video information, you will see that this is not how he spends the greater majority of his time. He is a happy, normal kitten 6 days out of the week, and there's a very treatable problem that makes him uncomfortable the other day. If he were in constant pain, we wouldn't let him suffer. However, I'm not going to put him down just because it's cheaper, when there are generous people who are willing to help. People have donated $200 so far.

And I hope you get all the money you need, It just seems like (as what happened in the movie) he could suddenly be in a lot of pain unpredictably or he could really injure himself while nobody is around to look after him. I have a cat myself, as well as several other exotic animals and I know a lot of pet owners disregard what is best for their pet just for their own entertainment or because they can't face the alternative, and I just hope that's not the case with this adorable chap.

When we adopted him we knew that things may take a turn for the worst and that we'd have to make the tough decision. However, we are working very closely with 2 vets to make sure we are doing what's best for him. I can only assure you. His next appointment is Saturday and we'll be looking at options to start fixing things.

I can't help right now since I'm just starting a job after being jobless for a while but I had planned to use part of one of my early checks to splurge on a game but now I don't want it. I had a cat a few years ago that got sick. He was puking a lot and just wasn't right. I figured he was just under the weather like cats tend to be at times but the next day his pule was green. that's when I knew he was in trouble. NO ONE would help me when the vet said the needed treatment was about 400$. They had to put him to sleep. This is my opportunity to help where I can and I want to. This darling little kitten deserves a chance.

I made some money (more than I deserved) this summer by taking care of a cat while its only was away, so I'm giving some of that to Sir Noggin because he deserves to have everything this cat did. Also, my cat is a tuxedo cat too.

I don't know how Animals are but as humans when we are younger we can regenerate bone. Specifically in the skull. It would be an expensive surgery but maybe it would be possible for Sir Noggin. I take my hat off to you. Its good that he has a good home and people that love him.

We have an appointment with an ASPCA specialist vet on Saturday so we'll try to ask all the right questions. We don't have any extra money - even buying litter & the usual kitten stuff has to be carefully budgeted - but there are always people out there willing to help as long as you're willing to ask, I've found. Not gonna let pride stop me from doing everything I can for this guy.
