  • what does TAS stand for?

  • @charliesheen4life ToolAssistant then the S i forgot :l

  • @tacosarebetter oh ok haha thx i can get 20 seconds on normal nintendo :P

  • @charliesheen4life Tool Assisted Speedrun (or in cases where speed isn't taken into account, Tool Assisted Superplay).

  • This is now obsolete. Matts! has beaten it with human control.

  • @ChivalRuse by this? /watch?v=ZxSnkyoDQu8&

  • @SparkSSBM I suppose.

  • It was clearly a joke...

  • damn and i though 27 was good

    awesome run!

  • Fantastic Record for American Version ^^

  • excellent...

    5*

  • What are the main changes?

  • I always wonder why you don't do any melee TAS' or what not, are there no programs for that yet?

  • Making a TAS for SSB64 is so much more enjoyable than for SSBM or SSBB, as the TAS program used for SSB64 is much easier, friendlier and better.

  • have you used it, before? i've heard there's no built in capturing feature, so you have to record the entire process of making it, then edit out the rerecords. do you know if that's true?

  • I've used it for Melee (Same process as Brawl aswell, but Brawl gives me a black screen, my PC is easily capable of loading it but it doesn't want to).

That's true. You record live, then edit out reruns. It does automatically make frame by frame into real time though, which is decent.

Mupen64 does everything for you, it's so awesome.

  • agreed. mupen is kickass. VBA does everything as well, if i recall correctly. not too sure about other emulators, as i don't TAS with them.
