Sort of - ZZ asks who the woman who came into his room was, and he says a friend. But when she asks if he treats every woman as badly as he does to her, he says no - only his mother is the exception.

sortof hard to hear what he's saying with the cigarette in his mouth. zhang ziyi's dialogue is pretty coherent to me though.
