Why were the owner's of the dog not sighted for leaving their "prized pet" in a car while watching a movie!? Believe it or not leaving your pet in a car here in Arizona is a felony! The point is that animal abuse is a clear symptom of severe mental disorder, and once the person gets tired of animals or gets just a little too angry, a vulnerable human being comes next. It's been substantially recorded of people convicted of aggressive crimes.

So unless they had a heat wave last week that I don't know about, the dog would not have been trapped in a hot car.
