I have been lucky many times driving while on Ambien. I hope your mother and brother are okay and she is no longer taking the drug.

Addicted does not mean that you abuse drugs. I've known plenty of people who took drugs because they needed them. Addicted means once you stop taking them you can't function normally(withdrawal). And in ambien's case I guess that would be not being able to sleep anymore.

Everyone's physical chemistry is different. Ambien on its own didn't make me like that either. But the mix of Ambien, Xanax and Seroquel did! I no longer take Seroquel and now the mix of the other two doesn't make me like that anymore. I think Seroquel was the main beast. lol

I've experienced the amnesia effects of Ambien CR on occasion but must say it's essentially negated completely if taken while actually in bed and immediately before my head hits the pillow. After beginning this method, I've never since placed a partially disassembled the tv remote in the freezer (which only happened once). Ambien CR is a heaven-send for folks with severe insomnia like me assuming it's taken responsibly.

Isaac!! I don't know if I ever told you but before I came out as trans and found out about binders and such I starved my body to get rid of any curves and was a very little thing. I weighed about 74 pounds and that was about 3 years ago now. It was a scary time. I will always have trouble with dysphoria as I am sure you understand but I no longer feel the need to starve my body. Thanks for caring bud!!

I took Lunesta one night and it gave me a HORRIBLE taste in my mouth so I never took it again. I have also dealt with the demon of anorexia. I am currently doing well but it always rears it;s ugly head again. I have an entire bottle of 2 mg Ativan pills that I'm not taking because my doc put me back on Xanax. Ativan works okay it just doesn't give you that "wow factor" that Xanax does. Plus since I don't have Ambien anymore Xanax makes you sleepier than Ativan so he put me back on it.
If u like lunesta and gt the taste u jst have to wrap the pill in a little piece of bread 4 like a week. Some people hv a chemical in thier bdy that reacts 2the coating on the pill in return gvs off a metallic taste. Gd nws is it is transient(so it goes away after about a week of use)Random information.

On Feb. 25 I was unable to be woke up and went by ambulance to the hospital where I was in a coma for a whole week. I went into renal failure and I spent an entire month in the hospital. Xanax should be outlawed.
