2:You go find me a way that a RWD car with 1000hp can effectively put traction down while riding on Michelin sport cups..have fun.

3:First off, it already does. Around a track the TVR will kill the veyron and that's all that matters. I couldn't care less about the stupid top speed bullshit.

4: Superchargers add weight and stress to the engine on top of creating A LOT of heat sink on the engine.

@8mos power to weight ratio on this car has been the must powerfull ever for its class of weight and with the huge amount the engine pushes out even if you tried to stop it from spinning the wheels in 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th gear would make it torque steer is ass off. and just to clear this up a standard speed 12 with reach a speed of 240 with the limiter on of 800 bhp the full 1027 would push 255+

I like the fact the guy at 1:15 says 'you can't just get in and rev it, you'll break the engine'. Sadly, and ironically, they did break the engine; the car blew a gasket and now has water in its oil. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon. It's an awesome car, and by the looks of that guy's ear defenders, pretty loud! ;-)

@lukeshytalker02 actually they play probably 25% 75% being power to weight ratio to see which is faster to 100, i'd have to watch a video on tvr speed 12 stock verse stock mclaren f1 gt. But i know because of their huge acceleration and g-force, the aerodynamics adds to more or less wind resistance which can slow the car down a bit from the huge acceleration. I'm pretty sure it'd play 25% max role compared to the power and weight of the car. But technical asside, i'd have to watch a video.

@lukeshytalker02 it's really hard to decide, the tvr speed 12 looks awesome with it's lights and it's huge rear bumper and how wide it is and it's curves, but i also love the mclarens sleek lines like it was designed for road car off a F1 car, very sporty and fast. If i had to choose, i'd probably go with mclaren JUST lol

The actual power of the engine is unknown, TVR tried it on a 1000BHP dyno and it broke the shaft of the dyno! The figures are an estimate taken from the power of each of the two 6 cylinder blocks that make up the engine, so could easily be above 1000BHP. It is a beast, but It must be horrific to drive!

@dannytoco1 Oh come on, 1000BHP is something we see in many moded Supras and Subarus, you don't call that unique. If you've got the money you can easily push a car to 1000BHP, that means nothing. Besides with such a build quality i doubt any TVR could cross the 350km/h line and not break down in the process.

The Speed 12 is a naturally aspirated car and with that in mind you have to be in awe of what is just raw cubic capacity, no forced induction. But yeah, it would probably break down at the sight of 150Mph! Ha ha. Shame though, would be nice to have them on the road, eating up Veyrons!
