I think McNabb will do pretty good. He only had 1 good receiver last year, and he hated the offense that the Redskins ran. Look for him to start, and put up around 3,600 yards, 24 TDs, and 11 Ints. Around there anyway.

The Vikings NEED to pick up a new WR with Rice in Seattle. I say pick up Owens, although he isn't what he used to be he can still be a number one WR. With Minnesota's running game as dangerous as it is, there shouldn't be too much stress when throwing the ball especially if you have veterans on both sides.

Of course Donovan is going to do alot better. I mean in Washington he had no O-line who didnt protect him all year long and like two go to recievers that were good in Santana Moss and Chris Cooley. Didnt help that he didnt have much of a running game because of Clinton Portis;s injury oh and the coach didnt really support him all the way. So pretty much the Redskins at war with a knife and said save us. Good thing he'll be in Minnesota where they pretty much have a better everything.

Why is everyone guaranteeing Donovans the man for the season? They spent a lot on Christian Ponder, and he ran the same West Coast Offense as the Vikings at Florida State. Personally, I think Donovan will either start the first two or three games until the team thinks Ponders ready, or they'll go with Ponder from the start. After that, McNabbs only chance is if Ponder does really bad.

Just like Matt Hasselbeck is for Jake Locker. or David Garrard is for Blaine Gabbert. or Jimmy Clausen is for Cam Newton. I don't really see any of the first round QB's starting opening day. Cam has the best chance, but Carolina would be stupid to start him. They still have so much rebuilding to do and it would screw up Cam's career if they made started him day 1.

I think you're right JR. He could definitely put up good numbers and help them win, but I don't think he'll be the Donovan he was during the early 2000s. Regardless, it's a good trade, Minnesota barely gave up anything for him and it's a definite upgrade from Joe Webb or Tavaris Jackson, who's now in Seattle.
