I absolutely love this game. It's very easy, but the levels and the enemies are very well designed, the same goes for the music. Definitely not the hardest game, but it is an excellent game and very fun to play with someone else.

Im 29 years old and I still love this game. I remember playing this with my friend back in 92/93 and we would always go back to it. I still have the game in top condition too.

takes you back.. Disney themed platformers were awsome back in the day... the Illusion series, Quack Shot and ofcourse Capcom's Ducktales and Rescue Rangers for the NES

i still have and love this game, i love the mickey mouse games on the genesis and this is probably my most played game just because its shorter than castle of illusion and way easier than mickey mania

I do think this game is awesome and i enjoyed it a LOT when i was a lil girl, the only thing i differ in your comments is that the colours are not that good... it is colourfull but colours are so dam bright that afther a while your eyes will scream for some relax xD (they could use a little bit of darker ones in my opinion)

My Dad gave me this game a few years ago along with the Sega Genesis after he had it when I was younger. This game is wonderful but the games today are lack-luster.

OMG this is the like one of my favorite games because it got me into video games when i was younger.....i would always play this game with my sister and we had all the card codes memorized, i think i was always donald and she was mickey......great game

That looks cool :) I especially like how when Mickey goes behind the curtains, you can still see him. There are a ton of platformers where your character is completely obscured by objects in the foreground :p

there was also land of illusion released in 93 and legend of illusion released 94. both for the gamegear.

Land of Illusion on the Game Gear was just a Master System Port, it wasn't a new game, but I did forget about Legend of Illusion. I think that was actually the least game in the series. Whoops!

lol. yep those are the 4 "illusion" games. i'd recommend magical quest and circus mystery on the SNES and mickey mania on the genesis. ever played mousecapade on the NES?

It's a magician's cape. If you flourish it over an enemy, they turn into something harmless. Some enemies take a couple hits, and the trail of magic dust that extends from the cape can stun enemies.
