I have just beaten Marcia tonight 6-4.

Tips: return the ball as early as possible with lots of spin. This way you get the angles.

If you find yourself having to return later, slice the shot back and you'll gradually move forward toward the table again so you can return early.

Do not slice when you have the chance to smash - you'll no doubt hit the net and it'll bounce out.

Beware - sometimes her returns do not hit the table, but if you return them she gets the point!

I finally beat this no good, lying, cheating @#$%^!!!! I was up 5-0 to do it too, finally won 6-3. She's somewhat weak on the left (backhand) side especially with topspin. She will eventually leave herself open to a winner to the right, or if she gets that, she cant get back left even though she has superhuman speed.

@pinkled5 Yeah, for some reason, the higher opponents are not actually better. They just hit the ball really slowly and move really fast so it is much harder to get an opening. Lucia is by far the funnest opponent in the game, and when I play, I just keep choosing "Restart" so I can play her over and over.

I liked the game until roughly this point. I'm sorry, but when half the time you lose points due to the motion controls becoming out of sync, that is no good. I have beaten Lucia, but am hopelessly stuck on the guy after. Half the points you lose are cheap, and this spoils the game.

@Maddy4Me you don't have to waste your points by letting your opponents win the match. When your opponent scores 5 points against you, hit the plus sign to bring up the menu, then restart the match. No points lost. You can even wait till she scores 6 points, and while they're replaying it, you still have time to restart it without losing points.

Three tips:

1) Hit as early as possible, keep the pressure on her.

2) Maximize spin: When hitting a forehand shot your elbow should end up in the air, with a backhand shot your thumb should twist as far as it can to the right.

3) When waiting for her to hit back keep your paddle by your belly button and facing the T.V. If you hold your remote by your side and have to quickly get it to the other side to return a shot the Wii may mistake that motion for a hit.

i just beat lucia and am now having major problems. Everytime i get to about 3 points my bat is permanently placed on the right hand side. I basically have to stand looking away from the tv to get it in the centre. Which makes playing almost impossible. Ive tried recalibrating my controller but it does nothing. Sounds like a calibration issue. Try disconnecting the Wii Motion add-on and reconnecting and see if that works. Lemme know...
