I'm English, from London and I don't understand this at all! I understand a few words here and there, and a few parts of sentences, but I have no idea what he's talking about!!!

Would a speaker of Jamaican Patois who'd lived in Jamaica all their life understand the London dialect? (I don't mean "TV cockney", I mean the real thing, spoken in the markets of the East End). Something like "Awaa' guvna, aahs you 'adai, yous ain't arf go'a suw'y luk on y' boat, muckah!"

@XmisterIS The official langauge in jamaica is stil english its just that rasta's dont want to speak like their former slave masters so they refuse their langauge and say word different: understand = overstand, opressor = downpressor, politics = politrics, i don't think its literally the same overstand means not just understanding but think what to do next i believe, forgive me for my bad english i am just a dutch men
