I am a strong supporter of Chad Henne, but I will always be saddened at the fact that we only got one year of play from Chad Pennington. He will always be one of my favorite QBs. There are not too many people that play the way he does.

In fact Larry Csonka is still the only man to have ruffing the defender called on him. So if you have a huge dude running in for 20 or 30 yards after being at 10, mostly not hit till 20 yards down the field, plus one of the greatest coaches in NFL history makes an easily won season without needing to cheating.

@lilbirdmanweezy Yeah Ginn wasn't that good, but he was fast. Meaning you need to double cover him regardless, and with Marshal that means you gotta play a quarter defense and double cover both. Meaning Ricky and Brown can actually get shit done. Ginn is good for thinning the defense out, and i wish we had that.
@Seracues so that play against the colts where he jumped up over the defender in single coverage where nothing was in front of him, hit both his hands and dropped it. in the endzone nonetheless.
I'm 18, and have been watching the fins all my life. This is the first time I've been old enough to be truly excited about the playoffs. This season was so incredible, so many close games, and considering just everything we had been through last year, it was by far the best season ever for the finz imo (besides 1972) :)

@bjchit Statistically, Thigpen has had a better NFL career than Henne. Thigpen was a rookie in 07, and I believe him and Henne are the same age. Those same rookies, has beens, and never wills were in our WR core when Thigpen was in! There are given TD passes to turner that someone like B. Marshall would have scored with. And oooo Chad Henne threw 2 TD's to his TE of all people. So again, why should Henne start?
Statistically, neither one has started a full year, and Thigpen had the benefit of throwing to Tony Gonzalez and Dwayne Bowe. And Thigpen is 15 months older then Henne. I said against the rookies, has beens and never wills, not throwing to, Christ. What? It doesn't matter who he throws them too, as long as he throws them. And it's still two more then Thigpen! What rookie, has beens or never were's were Thigpen and Henne throwing to? Miami has maybe 3 rookies that could've been out there with Thigpen. The Chiefs did have a running game, they just rarely ran the ball because they were losing so much they had to pass constantly. Actually no. You know why? Because with Henne's arm, we can actually long range passing game, which will up open the underneath game, and will allow our power running team to have more room to run, which is what the coaches want

@bjchit Thigpen makes some really young mistakes that Henne doesn't even make, like severe rookie mistakes. But everyone knows Henne has problems with touch and ball velocity. I think Thigpen meets Pennington's and Henne's skills in the middle.

@lilbirdmanweezy Yeah Ginn wasn't that good, but he was fast. Meaning you need to double cover him regardless, and with Marshal that means you gotta play a quarter defense and double cover both. Meaning Ricky and Brown can actually get shit done. Ginn is good for thinning the defense out, and i wish we had that.

I'm 18, and have been watching the fins all my life. This is the first time I've been old enough to be truly excited about the playoffs. This season was so incredible, so many close games, and considering just everything we had been through last year, it was by far the best season ever for the finz imo (besides 1972) :)

@bjchit Statistically, Thigpen has had a better NFL career than Henne. Thigpen was a rookie in 07, and I believe him and Henne are the same age. Those same rookies, has beens, and never wills were in our WR core when Thigpen was in! There are given TD passes to turner that someone like B. Marshall would have scored with. And oooo Chad Henne threw 2 TD's to his TE of all people. So again, why should Henne start?

Statistically, neither one has started a full year, and Thigpen had the benefit of throwing to Tony Gonzalez and Dwayne Bowe. And Thigpen is 15 months older then Henne. I said against the rookies, has beens and never wills, not throwing to, Christ. What? It doesn't matter who he throws them too, as long as he throws them. And it's still two more then Thigpen! Because he gives us the best chance to win! Holy shit man.

The Chiefs didn't have a stellar running game and were a worse all around team when Thigpen was behind center! Pennington gives us the best chance to win! Historically, statistically, and the intangibles. The only plus points Henne has is this "rocket arm" crap.

What rookie, has beens or never were's were Thigpen and Henne throwing to? Miami has maybe 3 rookies that could've been out there with Thigpen. The Chiefs did have a running game, they just rarely ran the ball because they were losing so much they had to pass constantly. Actually no. You know why? Because with Henne's arm, we can actually long range passing game, which will up open the underneath game, and will allow our power running team to have more room to run, which is what the coaches want
