  • I really wish they were attaching colored leg bands. USFWS bands are not readable with a scope, while the colored leg bands are. We really need to do this to determine how effective rehabilitation is and to determine where these birds go when released far from their original capture sites. An opportunity for understanding rehabilitation and relocation is being lost.
