How do you think the LMT charging handle compares to the BCM gunfighter?

Been looking and heavily considering buying one of those BCM uppers, I think I heard you say that it comes without a BCG? Any suggestions on a good quality BCG?

Well it's got the exact parts I wanted, since none 'off the shelf' really come this way.. so I would say this one is as good or better quality as any pre-built, but also the exact size / components I wanted

When Angola was fighting a civil was in the 80s a lot of fighters were fixing bayonets on their rifles. Nobody could figure why an AK would need a bayonet, but it was suggested that the bayonet could act as a guide for the bullet and possibly give it more range.

what were you shooting for with cutting the grip down? Its not saving much weight and doesn't make that much more storable..

Am a fan myself! I have an 07 pattern for my Lee Enfield. In this country the only justification the draconian government allows for bayonets is for collecting purposes.

I have an AR build planned when I get some money. Spike's Tactical mid-length using mostly Spike's parts. Coming in around the same price, maybe a little more when I factor in other expenses like accessories, tax, etc. If I come in under $1650 when all is said and done, I'll be happy. But the rifle itself will be complete and functional at around $1300 if all goes according to plan.

but besides that, rifles like this one are designed for fighting, and why not be able to fight with it as a weapon it's self, you are already carrying it, ammo or not

That charging handle sounded pretty solid. My colt is is a lot lighter it seems. Never seen a pistol grip like that, looks nice
