no, barrel is 1.5". There is no combustion chamber this is a pneumatic cannon.

This cannon is far more powerful than any 'starter fuel' combustion.

what size of pvc do you use to fit golf balls for me 1.5 is to small and 2 is to big or do you modify the abrrel?

Go on trademe and search Solenoid Valve. They're about $35-40, used to be only $30.

They shouldn't leak any air unless two things:

1) You're not using enough air pressure with enough flow when filling up the cannon, you'll need an air compressor to seal a sprinkler valve on a decent sized chambered cannon.

2) if you go over the pressure rating the diaphragm could fail, but as long as you stay below 175psi (rating is 140) you should be fine.

hey now i inder stand how to make a piston valve but my question is wat should i make it from is there any effect in differint pistons i was thing of a hot glue mould wat do u think will it make good power??? thx alot man

Oh it can also leak if it's around the wrong way or the diaphragm has a foreign object stopping it from sealing

hi im a big fan of u and im from auckland too hehe really nice gun hehe not like me i have a spring loaded gun which i pump up to around 70 psi but i wish to make a qev valve but dont know how :( will update on spud files

I was worried about ricochets from the golfball. As you can see by one of the clips, the ball ricochets well over my head..but better to be safe then sorry, that thing flew pretty quick.
