He is soooooo cute!! My oldest ferret, I have eight, is now partially paralyzed and I'm pretty sure he went blind. It is really tragic and I am so sad. I wonder if he would like playing in the bath as his movements would be made easier in the water??

my little joey has trauma to the legs..he was a pet store ferret too.. but not even the vets no what happened to him.. his legs sorta look more deformed then anything tho.. the dont split apart until like the knees.. he hops.. its cutee.. timmy is adorable by the wayy <3

@alynkaipalomo Yes, they can get paralyzed. That is why claws need to be clipped so they don't climb up to the top of curtains and leap/fall off. There are strap on wheels available but I don't know where from, or one could just make them.

What a handsome chap. I dont like ferrets never have smelly thing etc,but for the last two weeks i have been looking after a friends ferret at my home and im in love they are so funny stealing socks .He bit my cats bottom,cat not impressed.I wouldnt buy one but happy to look after him again,the ferret you have looks such a love i wish both of you luck .

He was in a Petco store and the vet believes that someone probably stepped on him or dropped him..He is in a nice new home now with proper care and is doing great.

I came home yesterday to find my ferret unable to use her legs... the vet said she most likely has some sort of spinal disease. I've only had her for about 1 month. She seems happy-go-lucky and I love her like a fat kid loves cake, but she cant control when she pees or defecates. what should I do? how can I make her comfortable?

Timmy was a Petco baby. No one will admit that something happened to him but two vets feel it was trauma, but no one is talking. He is only 7 months old now and growing like a weed. He is now in his forever loving home. Thanks for viewing him.

hey..I really need some advice!..my ferret fell on the florr and now she is paralyzed..the vet in trying to convince me to put her down. I don't have the hear to..she is so well and doesn't realise why she cant move..the problem is..her bowel doesn't work like it should and I have t help her to go to the bathroom..she is fit as anything and the only reasonwe would ahve to put her down is because of her bowel..does your little cutie have the same problem..?? This is a sanctuary and even though his needs were met we found a home that had the experience and time to care for a paralyzed ferret.. They should both have long lives..
