Z33's 4th shiny pokemon found on 2/16/07, while actively searching in the wild on seven island.

My first shiny was a shiny Baltoy in Ruby. My friend was over with me while I was training in the desert and I screamed, " HOLY ****!! A BLUE SHINY BALTOY!" then I caught it. :)

I was training my normal geodude who was lvl16 and then i saw a lvl6 Shiny and i was like....."Screw You, I Want Shiny!"

my first ever shiny was on gold and it was a swinub, but the one that i class as my first (due to still having it) is the gentle vulpix i found in the pokemon mansion on leaf green :)

Donphan: Silver (Cloned 4 times for friends)

Forretress: Diamond (I was an idiot one day and started a new file lol)

Skuntank: Diamond (Random as a stunky while training)

Squirtle (SR shiny in fire red. Also as i write this its a wartortle but i'm gonna play through fr b4 sending it to sinnoh)

i got shiny treecko from SRing but never found a shiny poochyena. it took almost 6,000 SRs. but when i was SRing for shiny mudkip, i also found two shiny poochyenas. finally, after more than 12,650 SRs i found the shiny mudkip.

Yeah it was. Since then, I got shiny Regirock (2,894 SRs), Dratini (no idea, didn't keep track of all of the SRs), and Torchic (jsut got it Wednesday, about 10,831 SRs). I'm satisfied now that I have all the shiny Hoenn starters.

good idea using the master ball, because it probably has explosion. and guess what shiny i just got today? shiny regirock! it took about 2,894 SRs. i also got a shiny miltank in a non-shiny patch at chain 6 yesterday. i'll post the video now.

I found it by doing hundreds of wild battles in the grass, back then that was the only way to find a shiny pokemon in the 3rd generation games other than breeding or soft resetting in front of a legendary. The odds of finding a shiny are 1 in 8192. I was actually able to find 4 different shiny pokemon total, one in ruby and 3 in leafgreen by actively searching for one in the grass. Now, you can chain for one in diamond/pearl and you can increase the odds to 1 in 204 at chain 40.

yeah i did the same for vulpix. it takes like 3-4 hoyurs. my first shiny was actually in diamond and it was a gravler lol.

I believe you but i have a question ,was it your 3rd master ball or did you cought the other 2 with regular balls?

No, it was the only one I had in the game. I used it because at level 46, geodude knows selfdestruct and I didn't want to risk losing a shiny because of it. The first shiny I encountered in leafgreen was a shiny sentret and I caught it with a pokeball and the second was a shiny marowak and I caught it with an ultra ball. I also caught a shiny nincada in ruby and I also used a pokeball.

I caught a shiny Sandslash in my LeafGreen. I was just trying to get through Victory Road and it suddenly appeared.

Yeah, I should have, but I wasn't thinking at the time and I encountered this shiny way back when, even before thinking of uploading it to youtube. I actually filmed it in order to have a record for myself that I had at one point encounter a shiny in my life, but things changed when diamond/pearl came out and I learned about chaining. Now, I've been able to encounter/catch 773 shiny pokemon and from catching doubles and evolving I now have266 different kinds of shiny pokemon.

i had a shiny trapinch but didnt notice it was shiny until it evolved. i was like... WTF thats not the colors?!?!? after (whatever trapinch evolves into b4 flygon) evolved i knew it was shiny. the only shiny i got...

I think Shiny Trapinch's color is more noticable than the colors of Shiny Vibrava :p

Shinyrayquazaman, yup it is. It was the 3rd random shiny I found in leafgreen, while actively search for one. Before this shiny geodude, I was also able to encounter a random shiny sentret and a shiny marowak all in the last island, but in different patches of grass. They each took more than 20 hours of wild battles to find and surprisingly I encountered them all around 10 A.M. in the morning.
