I think Beyonce's leading up to it makes hers more appealing to listen to. When Kelly takes that part of the song, she doesn't command as much attention as Beyonce does when she sings it, so the note seems less... Noticeable and less impressive when Kelly does it, 'cause it's almost drowned out by the other 2.

i prefer kelly, but to be specific, the end part of kelly's note...she has a more delicate tone and still managed to emulate beyonce's general approach giving fullness and resonance towards the end

Most certainly Bey's. Kelly's is sweet, but was definately a breathy falsetto. Bey's were well connected in head voice with much more resonance and great vibrato.

@kelvinpyaeko If you listen very carefully, Beyonce is like a quarter pitch sharp, Kelly's sounds more relaxed and the pitch isn't off.

They're both really good, it's just there's a difference in the way they approach the note, Kelly approaches it from on top of the pitch, while Beyonce approaches like she's "lifting" the pitch causing her to be a little bit sharp.
