The new Enterprise is too big, the nacelles need to be scaled down with thicker supports to hold them. Fix that, and it would look great.

I like the intro by the way. Especially the music (it sounds different the the TNG intro oddly, in a good way)

@VenomShock The stardrive section is way too small, the nacelles are too bulbous and misshapen, and the color scheme makes it look more like some stainless steel POS rather than a functional starship. the torpedo launcher was introduced in this design at least 20 years too early for the timeline, and let's not even get into the interior design.

Surprising even to myself, I have no qualms about the saucer section, though.

I don't get what this is supposed to be. What things would be like if they took nuTrek and turned it into a series? A re-done opening for the airing of the movie on television? Besides, JJ went out of his way to use the original TOS themesong for the movie, and the original lettering font. This does neither. While this may be a nice example of editing, as a nuTrek project it fails.

Nice effort and vision on the concept. But, to be honest, I would rather Rick Berman or Michael Pillar re-invent or "Re-Boot" the original Star Trek and just leave the J.J. Abrams version alone. But, I do like your ST intro concept. Don't want to knock on that. That is genuinly good.

Really great intro and use of music. But that (ahem) "Enterprise" is still the ugliest of ducks. I actually enjoyed the movie and thought the actors didn't screw it up too bad. It wasn't their fault. But god what a stupid ship redesign. And the story wasn't particularly fetching either. Abrams is a dweezil.

I like this intro much better! :) The original Jerry Goldsmith theme song from the 1979 Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, and of course the Alexander Courage version from Star Trek: TNG should have been used for the 2009 film! That "Awesome" Star Trek theme song alone would've given this movie more credibility!

This is excellent work. This is a solid intro- However, the first reveal of the ship seems premature. I like the reveal being where and how it is, as the music starts pounding and you see the vessel revealed. The Titan atmosphere exit, while one of the coolest shots around, just doesn't seem to work where it is.
