You can make your own music by slowing down the tempo and go crazy. I make all sorts of epic heavy metal songs by doing that :3 You don't HAVE to play the notes....

i was all exicited about wii music when i saw the promos n stuff, but it let me down, i thought it was gonna be more like: step 1- compose your notes and add your parts, step 2- choose your instruments, step 3- play YOUR song with your choice of instruments, step 4- record it, step 5- do it again... one of the worst parts of the game is no EarthBound music O.o, and hardly any nintendo music. that was the worst b-day money i've ever spent. who agrees with all that i've said?

People forget that kids still exist. Most people complaining here are teenagers who need to make the world see how grown up they are. Kids dont play zelda, nor call of duty (they even shouldnt play call of duty! jesus!). It's all about making games about the american way of lie (wars!) now. Looks fun for kids but I would probably lose interest in this. I think Mario Paint is probably better than Wii Music when it comes to creativity. I've seen people cover a wide range of songs like from DragonForce in Mario Paint though I doubt you'd be able to do that in this game.

dont agree with some of the things in this review. i'll agree that for the most part the song selection is not the greatest, but theres more creativity involved than the reviewer gives credit

also you dont have to play drums like that! if you dont use the balance board you can play the drums quite easily/well

basically this is a love it or hate it game though. if you have the patience and creativity to make twinkle twinkle something cool then its for you, but if not then dont get this.
