One mine was stacked on top another. A Dark Templar approached and the mine on the bottom intended to target it, but the mine on top had it stuck so Nada destroyed the mine on top to let the bottom mine kill the Dark Templar.

not only to get rid of defiler energy, but if you emp any zerg unit (not sure if it applies to terran or protoss as well), it forces the units to go toward the sci vessel that shot it. that way, the lings couldn't escape the irradiate, and BOOM! pop goes the zerglings
