  • Thanks very much LochBracadale! This of course is all down to Iain Ruaraidh Finlayson himself taught by Scotland's own greatest piper Ian MacFadyean! Wonderful - piping at it's best!!!

  • Spot on TheMistyIsle. By the look of Housev's profile he hasn't progressed beyond teddy bears.

Years ago I was in the Isle of Skye Pipe Band whilst at Portree High School and when it still had a strong contingent of older generation pipers and drummers. Good to see that PHS is still producing good pipers and this is fine piping. Very best of luck to them.

  • Ahh, the sweet melody of the bagpipe. Whenever I miss its sweet timbre, I cut my cat in half with a butterknife and chuck it in the tumble drier.

  • To say what you have said is disrespectful to these kids and their tutor who put in an enormous amount of practice each week. They won a lottery bid gaining a substantial amount of money to cover the cost of the uniforms. These kids live on Skye where there is little for teenagers. To have this up and running gives these kids a purpose, a sense of belonging and keeps them all off the streets and makes me proud to say that I live here and proud to have a son that is part of this.
