  • It won't rust the rollers, but you want to put it on the bridge saddles, and under the string trees too. It should help a lot. Let me know how it works out for you. ps. sorry it took so long to respond I got out of the habit of checking YouTube. I'm adding more videos now so I'll try to be better about responding!

  • I have an american strat deluxe with a roller nut. Its hard to keep in tune when using the vibrato bar, or if I play hard. will this help? Could it rust the rollers????

  • Hey Jay, Yes, you will get the Classic Strat tone from the ESP Vintage Plus. I have an old Fender Strat and my ESP has replaced it as my Strat of Choice so, yes...it's a great guitar. The Whammy Bar is better than my Fender as well. If you already like the work ESP does, then I'd go for it. You won't be sorry I'm sure!

  • Hi Todd, a little off the topic, but how do you like your ESP Vintage Plus? I've been trying to decide between a Fender Strat and ESP. I own an ESP Eclipse II and it's a favorite of mine. Looking for that classic "strat" tone, will I find it in the Vintage Plus? thanks, great info too!

  • KarloR27 and MELLSBAD: That's a Schaller Hipshot Xtender Drop D tuner for Guitar. They make a few models depending on the style tuners you use. I have had to drill the hole a bit bigger on a few guitars to make it fit but it's probably just because they didn't make the different versions back then! It's a great tool and a lifesaver for quick transitions to and from Drop D tuning songs. You only want to use them with a fixed bridge guitar though,It won't work with a floating whammy bar.

  • Never saw that invention of the tuner tuning down from e to d that quick! Handy for banjo rolls or fingergstyle.

  • OddTimeMan: Gary Oldman huh!!! I've never got that one before! Ha.

EVguitarsNW: With the locking nut you probably don't need the Nut Sauce. If you break many strings on the string saddle you could try some there to help break less strings but it won't do anything for keeping the guitar in tune. It really thrives with Non-Locking nuts!

    ILANAGk89: Thank you so much!!!

fuzzysting: I think Jeff answered your question! By the way, Jeff invented the stuff!!! Thank you JEFF!!!

  • @ToddWoolsey I use this stuff it's great. Never have to tune due to bending. Great playing. Where did u get that d tuner? or what is it called? Definately want one:-)

  • You look like Gary Oldman. Anyway, great vid!

  • is it also good for guitars with a floyd rose tremolo?

  • You're amazing and wonderful and the best musician!

  • Why would this be preferable to 3 in1, or sewing machine oil?

  • Nut Sauce won't run or drip...so it stays where you put it. Use the microbrush that comes with it, to apply it only where you need it and it will stay only where you put it, like the nut slots, underside of string guides, string bearing surface of saddles and fulcrum/pivot points of your trem. Nut Sauce also contains no petroleum products or wax and is non toxic and non corrosive.

  • You gotta love Big Bends Nut Sauce, it is great for the nuts :)
