I think most horse riding accident such as these, are just about life ! there not the horses fault, there not the riders fault,the horse tries everything it can to get over the jumps, but if it carnt make it, it carnt make it..but they try there dam hardest for us,they dont mean for their riders to get hurt, but theres nothing the horse can do. I give every credit to my horses and those around the world in what they do for us, and the amount of of competition,love and just pure fun they bring :)

@trixtera Its physically impossible for a horse to jump 3-4 metres, so calm down. The jumps in this video are 1.7m at the most...and yes, that's still high, but the people involved are aware of the risks. And barrel racing...well I don't barrel race so I can't really say but it looks pretty dangerous. The most dangerous part of horse riding is not jumping or barrel racing, but being dragged along by your stirrup anyway, (which can easily be prevented by safety stirrups), so calm down!

just the other day i was riding a wild horse (i just have to squeeze me legas and it will gallop) and we were jumping. but i was comin up to fast and went rite over her neck and like when i got back on i had another fall but it was serious, i was going to fast then she stopped then jumped it and i ended up sitting and he neck then she went for a another jump about 1.7m and i went flying and went over the fence into the ditch :L still love that horse :)

Some mis-counted their strides,some the horses accidently slipped on a turn and some horses refused because they were spooked or the rider messed up. NONE of these riders are pushing their horses. @Joustknight It's because hunter jumpers have a different 2-point for their jumping. It's more up on the neck and a bigger release. This makes it a lot more harder to stay on an un-expected refusal. I myself, jump show jumpers and hunter jumpers. There is a very big difference. Try to learn why they fall off like that and the facts about each side of the jumping sport before you go laughing.
