as long as your new updates DO NOT come from your provider you will keep your root access. OTA updates from provider take the access away.

WOW!! This is so GAY!! The home-screen, like the folders, if you own a Macintosh like me, are exactly like the ones you would see from your Macintosh computer. The Market icon looks almost exactly the same as the iPod/iPhone's! The settings icon are the gears like the iPod/iPhone's. Also the map icon looks the same. This is gay.

That's not what the default android os looks like. that's part of haykuro, a hacked build of android with a homescreen replacement if I'm not mistaken. He stated that in the video. Android is pretty cool in that respect as you can do quite a bit with the os. fun for hackers.
