What happens in the alternate ending where she is smiling at the camera (sort of) and then she zooms in bcuz the person who uploaded the clip edited it like a dick.
The movie was nowhere like the real thing, you wouldn't have a ghost running in and out of a door and shutting it hard, besides you would never hear them run in and out like a human being, those things float and they are very quiet, they only move things around, the movie over did it.

This movie was freakin awesome, just saw it for the first time (ty Netflix lol) and I want to say that I don't get scared easily, so when I was done watching this and shaking like crazy I knew this was a great and truely terrifying film.

I watched this movie on Netfl!x....when it was a foot away from my face and I couldn't cringe or snuggle up next to a pillow. I also didn' t have normal speakers so I had to listen to it through head phones....this made it ten times more scarier...I advise it :D
I liked this movie becasue when it came out I watched The Fourth Kind aswell. Paranormal Activity was DEFINATLY better seeing as Fourth Kind completely lied about the footage and audio being real because it was all fake. Paranormal Activity made no claims to be real or based on a true story even though they did it in a home movie style, so thumbs up for that :)
I fuckin loved this movie watched it on my own 50" tv surround sound in the dark hd, was amazing exept for the ending was shit... + i thought that it was a real documentry the whole way through the film it was amazing! and i don't even like scary movies...

He also scares ali with the toy car thing. Now early on in the film theres a scene where hunter, is reaching for the pots, theres also a scene where he plays with the car. Most people ignore the actual story which is crazy and focus on the raw PA. They dont get the psychological shit. I love it, cant wait for 3

this movie had a great plot and was played out well but no it was not scary at all exept yes, when micah is thrown at the camera but only cause it was a pop out. it did scare me when she screamed cause although i knew she would it still made me jump. you were right, it did make me expect it and did go too slow. i knew she was possessed the second she wouldn't get out of bed or leave the house. especially when she smiles when micah leaves the room.

Scary movies are not all about the blood and CGI shit, it's all about the suspense and build up to the end.

Ok the first time i watched it i was at a friends and i was already scared the 1st time we watched through it so she turned it off...then i went to sleep and woke up in the middle of nite and it was back on! so i turned it back off...like 3 hrs later it came back on and i was like WTH! finally i took it out of the dvd player and put away...2hrs later no surprise it was back on! i was getting scared and mad.but mad cause i thought it was my friend doing it but she still denies it to this day..

@skaterkid538 yeah, the ending with the cops isn't even on the DVD, I hear, because they did a rewrite of the end after the initial screening, I saw that one first. The other two endings made it to DVD though, but both seem weaker than the original and make less sense than it.
OK, there is no way this is a real movie, it's just frugal and not fantastical at all (the same formula that bad filmmaker use to make documentary footage) That's why people get confused about the real-life credibility of it, but it's just a horror flick, nothing more. I like it, but it's got 3 different endings, the one everyone and their mum saw was the worst one - leads to the sequel, the one with the cops was way better, and the third with the knife (I didn't see it yet) sounds better too.
Like this if All you could do during all the nights (night 1 13 21 and all the others you know) All you could do was star at the Effin door waiting for like a shadow or something to appear or for the door to move!! no seriously lol that was the only thing i was doing! and also like this if after you saw the movie another time you laughed when she got dragged out of the bed and pretty much at everything!

I think I'm like you, scary movies don't really "scare" me. Yes, during this movie my heart was pounding but I only thought the last two days were truly "scary". The rest of the movie was just.... tense.

and i thought the ending was GREAT! the whole standing in the doorway then leaning over her boyfriends body like some creature was absolutely terrifying. I thought it was magic. IDK and i'm not some chick that screams during every movie. I have to say i have a pretty thick skin when it comes to this, and i thought the ending to PA was pretty damn creepy.

Believe me they go away. until u go back to sining and forgetting, they come back and 1 small tip i found out the its harder for them to get out in the light so have a light in your room before u sleep.

When I saw Toy Story 3 in theaters, when they headed for the flames, they just gave up, and simply decided to lose their frickin' lives, and I was about run out of the theater, until Woody looked up. I knew there would be a happy ending!!!!! :)

And the thought of a woman being possessed by the demon and standing for 2 hours straight, just staring at the boyfriend, doesn't give you the shivers even slightly? The loud bangs are scary because they're unusual sounds to hear when you're in your bed, at night, with all the doors locked and the alarm on. Scary movies are not all about the blood and CGI shit, it's all about the suspense and build up to the end.

I watched this with my friends at like 1 in the morning. IT was really boring at first and then when it tried showing the ghost shit it just wasnt realalistic. I guess you just have to believe in ghost's to be scared or entertained with this movie.

See the body fly into the room. I just saw Katie come in and eat the camera. Which wouldn't make sense, because if she ate the camera, they couldn't get the footage. What scares me is that I'm a fourteen year old blonde girl. I didn't scream during the film at all. However, my three guy friends screamed throughout the duration of the film. WTF.

To all the people that say they weren't scared by this movie, I wonder how you watched it. Like were the lights on, were you with people, etc. Because my ass watched it in my house late at night with no lights on and I was alone. Nobody in the house because everybody else were scared and it scared the shit out of me. I didn't have nightmares or anything, but it was the scariest movie ive seen.

Ok the first time i watched it i was at a friends and i was already scared the 1st time we watched through it so she turned it off...then i went to sleep and woke up in the middle of nite and it was back on! so i turned it back off...like 3 hrs later it came back on and i was like WTH! finally i took it out of the dvd player and put away...2hrs later no surprise it was back on! i was getting scared and mad.but mad cause i thought it was my friend doing it but she still denies it to this day..

@skaterkid538 yeah, the ending with the cops isn't even on the DVD, I hear, because they did a rewrite of the end after the initial screening, I saw that one first. The other two endings made it to DVD though, but both seem weaker than the original and make less sense than it.

OK, there is no way this is a real movie, it's just frugal and not fantastical at all (the same formula that bad filmmaker use to make documentary footage) That's why people get confused about the real-life credibility of it, but it's just a horror flick, nothing more. I like it, but it's got 3 different endings, the one everyone and their mum saw was the worst one - leads to the sequel, the one with the cops was way better, and the third with the knife (I didn't see it yet) sounds better too.

To behonest I would thought this movie sucked if I wasn't a loner and randomly learns about demonic entities and has had experience with them.... The only reason it was scary, other than the classic sudden screams on Hollywood, was that this stuff actualy happens to people... Whether you believe me or not I've had crap like this happen to my mother and I was there to witness it all :/ and I was scared that it may happen to me without warning :(

I think I'm like you, scary movies don't really "scare" me. Yes, during this movie my heart was pounding but I only thought the last two days were truly "scary". The rest of the movie was just.... tense.
Addressing the ending though, I prefer the movie ending, not the alternate ending. I assume you have seen the alternate ending by now, but personally I thought it was a let down. I was so tense up to it, thinking it would be scarier and then, bam! Suicide, drop dead, not scary. Thoughts?

and i thought the ending was GREAT! the whole standing in the doorway then leaning over her boyfriends body like some creature was absolutely terrifying. I thought it was magic. IDK and i'm not some chick that screams during every movie. I have to say i have a pretty thick skin when it comes to this, and i thought the ending to PA was pretty damn creepy.
