The point is that Richard Williams was concerned about the youths in his community. He tried to do something positive for them, steering his kids and others away from bad things. He emphasized education and the white community who always preached education bashed him for making his girls go to school instead of playing tennis when they were young. I'm glad they didn't listen to those people and did it their way.
