I don't think the lyrics are childish at all and are actually better than 99.9% of all other Thai songs out there. It really feels fresh because every Thai song out there is about "LOVE" or has something to do with love. It's the censorship in this country that stops creativity and after living in this country long enough you become a mindless zombie accepting the censorship as if it were normal. I say support bands that have something else to say in there songs besides "I love you" !!!

btw, the singer isn't half anything he's Metropol's ex lead and he was born in Korea and adopted to America. Just so everyone knows hehe. You can look up his bio if you look up his old band. I don't know if he speaks Thai so I am gonna be sad if Silly Fools keeps on with all English lyrics especially cause they are not that good.

my wife knew SILLY FOOLS but I discoverd them on YOU TUBE.

Really think this band is great and has international potential, but regret the former singer "TOE" left the band. Too bad for them !

because he seemed to be a good songwriter, good voice and very good stage "presence".

It's not only that.

It's just that the new singer can't sing. His average range is just under an octave, and his performance at centre point was amateur at best. He sounds like he has no vocal training in like, ever.

Also, the lyrics to some of the songs... if the singer was truly half american and had some integrity, there was no way he'd sing that. I'm sure Toe would've hit the spot with lyrics in whatever language.

But then, Toe's a Douche.

I was actually excited that the new singer spoke english so I could understand the lyrics. But to be honest the new lyrics are terrible (except Stay Away). Their new singer didn't even write them!. Now I really miss Toe, he had better melodies, lyrics (from what I understand) and a he wrote a lot of the best Silly Fools songs. I'm saying this and I'm not even thai! I live in america! If that isn't a testament to how good Toe is then I don't know what is!!!

Is issaram from Thailand? I like the English, but for selfish reasons. I loved the music that I heard of their old stuff, but I couldn't understand the lyrics. At least now I can sing along with out making up words. My apologies to all, but my Thai is not so good.

I guess if they can learn english I shouls make an effort too!! :)

Yeah, I agree. I lived in Bangkok for a few years and saw these guys play live a few times. The new stuff seems like a leap forward. I'd like to see them again, but I can't imagine that they will be coming to New York anytime soon.

These guys are so awesome! I have a friend who is backpacking in Thailand who sent me their a few of their songs but I haven't seen them before. Can anyone tell me where I can find more? I love the video that this person has put together (athough unfortunetely I don't know what they are saying) The singer is hot -Check the dreads on the bass player. Who are these guys??
