Great video. Next can you show me how to "properly" shoot one handed while standing on my head. Then you can show me the correct grip for holding a Desert Eagle and shooting behind your back and between your legs. You know, because that's all stuff that is realistic and useful.
if i hadn't read allll the comments, I wouldn't have read the part where zmadpoet8 explains turning both front-sights into one frontsight which is freakin genius, can't wait to try it with live ammo
I wish 44 Rem Mag is cheap. You just shot around $12.00 worth of ammo. I got a 6.5 inch model 629 and that's what goes through my mind every time I pull the trigger. I'm getting into reloading soon so I can shoot my "feminine" revolver more often...
@FreemanLambda,You bet what? You would lose. At Self defense distance (35 ft or less) I hit center mass every time. Is it target shooting? No, of course not, and 3" .44 magnums are not target pistols either.
@LRooster4Prez , if you listen to the video,I describe how it is essential to fire both pistols at exactly the same time so the recoil of one does not affect the point of aim of the other.
STOP SAYING THEY ARENT DOUBLE ACTION!!!! Just because he isnt using them as double action doesnt make the gun not a double action. A double action revolver can be used as both single and double while a single action is only single. He clearly states why he pulls the hammer manually each time; which is to make it easier to aim. Stop talking about what you dont know.
Don't believe me? Do your homework, look up Smith and Wesson 629 revolvers, they come in multiple barrel lengths.
@Ben546 Here is a little revolver primer for you kid, double action is any revolver that can either be fired by cocking it first (as in the video) or by simply pulling the trigger. The Smith and Wesson 629 (the stainless version of the model 29 of "Dirty Harry" fame) is a double action pistol. You really should research a little before posting "dumbass" LOL.
@Ben546 Single action is the old cowboy type where you have to pull the hammer back each time and the trigger only releases the hammer and strikes the primer. Double action is there you can simply pull the trigger and the hammer moves back before striking the primer.
Please don't talk out your ass and call others a dumbass, we actually own double action revolvers and know what we are talking about.
@Ben546 Then turn your volume up and you will hear why he is doing it. Fucking idiot. He claims it makes it more accurate to cock and fire each gun at the same time. Which is true, if you ever have shot a revolver, you would know that the trigger pull is where you lose your steady aim. Simply pulling the hammers gets rid of that problem.
These are modern fire arms, not classic colts, they are double action he just isnt using them as double action in this video.
Sweet video, cool technique. Its clear that most of the people on here talking shit have no experience with firearms. Those are some slick .44's my friend!
Its SINGLE ACTION but its ok to mess up with thos bcuz most ppl think single action is pressing trigger and i even hav trouble understanding y they switched the words with the action but idk
@muddabutt ok this is the true reason for the two names single actions are called single actions because when you pull the trigger it can only perform 1 action(fireing the gun) double action is called double action because if you want it can both cock the hammer and fire at the same time. hope I helped:)
@muddabutt ok this is the true reason for the two names single actions are called single actions because when you pull the trigger it can only perform 1 action(fireing the gun) double action is called double action because if you want it can both cock the hammer and fire at the same time so the trigger performs on e action. hope I helped:)

@jtbolyard88 Because if you listened to the tutorial you would realize the pistols must be fired at exactly the same time so the recoil of one does not affect the aim of the other. This is obviously much easier to accomplish when the guns are already cocked.
Because I spend more money on my guns than my camera, also, when two guns are fired at exactly the same time, the muzzle blasts partially cancel each other out.
@jacob1189 I used to work at a gun range, one of the perks was all the free ammo I wanted to practice with, and almost anyone who has put over 100,000 rounds thru a variety of pistols is bound to have skills most people will never have.
I wasn't shooting? There is a sound delay in the video because the camera is a POS, having been downrange of those pistols that day would have been fatal.
@zmadpoet8 my first non-blackpowder revolver was and is a J.P Sauer/Hawes Texas marshal (their typo not mine) .45 SAA :D
Today I put my super blackhawk on gunbroker towards the purchase of a 29 or 629 not sure what bbl i'll go with but Im feeling 3 or 4 inch. I've shot a lot of 44 mag and cant stop thinking about how nice the DAs are! Ive got plenty of single actions and I lovet them. its time for me to give one up for a sweet ass smith
Where I live if you step out on the back porch and let blaze a few rounds every once in a while. Nobody messes with your stuff. They know you will shoot back.
It is peaceful and has a low crime rate. The crack heads go to the gun free zones to shop.
I will take 2 44 mags over any 9mm any day. 44 is an excellent defensive choice. 2 guns is hard to explain to a judge though, unless you are fighting off a mob.
I would love to see a 9mm wielding criminal come through your window. The average person can take a few 9mms and keep fighting. 1 44 mag anywhere is devastating.
or you could have a beretta 9mm with 15 rounds and fire much faster with more than 2x the capacity of 2 revolvers. and btw you arent accurate at all with 2 hands shooting unless you have time to stop and aim. not gonna happen if somones crawling through your window
then use a .45 hollow point, that will only take 1 shot. i never send you werent accurate, im just saying your not gonna pull out 2 .44 mags to look cowboy when your shooting the guy trying to rob your house
@zmadpoet8 two years ago I was jumped for no reason by four complete strangers in a US state I'd never visited before. Fuckers didn't even try to rob me, purely sadistic. I carry a .45 every day since then.
Like anything else, practice makes perfect, I used to work at a firing range and would get all the ammo I wanted to shoot on site for free... so yes, I can hit what I aim at, left handed, right handed, or both at once as easy as breathing.
It is absolutly essential that both hammers fall at exactly the same moment, or the aim of the second gun to fire will be off, if you try to do that with a long trigger pull, you will fail.
Interesting firing stance. I've always wondered what kind of shot groups you get dual wielding at the 20 yard line? 30 yard line? Thanks in advance for the info.
By pressing your thumbs together you steady the guns, and with both eyes open, you focus on the target, and the two sets of sights blend into one (try it by placing both arms extended with your thumbs up, and focus past them) your groups should be the same as what you can attain with one gun, which varies person to person. I can group 3-4 inches at 30 ft.
good work man! Im getting the urge to buy a second gun, but I dont know if I can find one as cool as the one i got now(rossi 972, 357mag 6" barrel stainless steel).
Funny, as I recall in this video, your probably what, 30-40? Ok, I'm 16, I'm a military brat, and I don't need to post a video on basic saftey, did I say anything about shit shooting? No, you apparently can't put words through your head right. I was merely restating what CROCK3 said, and he was right. And besides that why would you want to dual wield .44s, its suicidal, I'd rather be using a .40, whie some nut is dual wielding trying to hit me, I take one shot and I'm done. Dualing is wasteful
I'm sorry, I missed all the people he was getting shot at/shooting at, that would make him have to fight for his life.
Also, shooting two guns at the same time, accuracy doesn't drop that much, even less so if you do it allot, you have a better chance to hit in most cases anyway, seeing as how you are shooting more.
Shooting with two pistols can, with practice, be as easy as walking with two legs, the ability to fire 12 rounds of .44 magnum so quickly doesn't hurt either.
The sound is off because of the camera, and the sound of the guns is odd because the muzzle blasts cancel each other when they occur at the same time, and reduce the sound significantly, this is more pronounced when I shoot indoors, you get kind of a weird popping sound instead of a typical muzzle blast, but only if fired at the same time with identical guns and ammo.
Yes, the camera was a real POS, but my new Sony Cybershot uploads better video.
The way to practice this is by "dry fire" until when you pull both triggers you hear only one click, if you fire them both at exactly the same time, the muzzle blast will be muted to a dull pop like you heard as the shock waves cancel each other out to a large degree.
I dont know about weilding dual pistols in a gun fight, but the reason you would do it in a situation like this is because its COOL.Nice video.I didnt notice ear plugs though, they had to ring for days.
The purpose of this video is just to prove I can do it, anyone can claim it, and I see a lot of folks trying it, I'm just showing how to do it in a way you can actually hit something.
I am left handed, but in 1995 my left arm was injured, and in a sling for 8 months, so I practiced every day right handed, when the sling came off I bought a second pistol, now I buy all my pistols in matched pairs
Well mate if your intent is to repel a burglar in yr home then standing face on to him will give him a broad easy target to shoot at, better to stand side on carefully holding one gun with both hands and concealing yr body behind a wall..then shoot the shit outta them.
Hey there max payne in black leather coat :D

And besides that why would you want to dual wield .44s, its suicidal, I'd rather be using a .40, whie some nut is dual wielding trying to hit me, I take one shot and I'm done. Dualing is wasteful

I'm sorry, I missed all the people he was getting shot at/shooting at, that would make him have to fight for his life.
Also, shooting two guns at the same time, accuracy doesn't drop that much, even less so if you do it allot, you have a better chance to hit in most cases anyway, seeing as how you are shooting more.
So why shoot two at the same time?
He is just shooting them off, and it's fun.
About as fun as two berettas.

is there any situation that you would need to shoot two pistols at the same time or is it just for funsies
Deadcell205 3 years ago
Shooting with two pistols can, with practice, be as easy as walking with two legs, the ability to fire 12 rounds of .44 magnum so quickly doesn't hurt either.
Bigger and more holes bleed faster.

Thanks for the video, and not holding your weapons sideways haha.

lol, sound delay on this vid is so funny, when he lowered the guns, the sound came ;)

I spend more money on guns than cameras ;-)

the sound was way off and whats with the gun sounds???
theyre like a pop mabe its the gun though, i know nothing about guns
SeriousIlya 4 years ago
The sound is off because of the camera, and the sound of the guns is odd because the muzzle blasts cancel each other when they occur at the same time, and reduce the sound significantly, this is more pronounced when I shoot indoors, you get kind of a weird popping sound instead of a typical muzzle blast, but only if fired at the same time with identical guns and ammo.

I used to work at a gun range so I had a lot of time to figure out a method that actually worked.

SOUND LAGGGGG!!! But the techniqe seems usuable.
GriffinR34 4 years ago
Yes, the camera was a real POS, but my new Sony Cybershot uploads better video.
The way to practice this is by "dry fire" until when you pull both triggers you hear only one click, if you fire them both at exactly the same time, the muzzle blast will be muted to a dull pop like you heard as the shock waves cancel each other out to a large degree.

Great lesson! I've always wanted to learn the proper technique of double pistols & this works great.
Plus those glasses & that pimpin jacket..man your the white morpheus
AND a 10 gauge for home defense? ....awesome

I dont know about weilding dual pistols in a gun fight, but the reason you would do it in a situation like this is because its COOL.Nice video.I didnt notice ear plugs though, they had to ring for days.
TheoneGodfather 4 years ago
I wear my earplugs deep, they were light yellow, so they didn't show.
zmadpoet8 4 years ago
The purpose of this video is just to prove I can do it, anyone can claim it, and I see a lot of folks trying it, I'm just showing how to do it in a way you can actually hit something.
zmadpoet8 4 years ago
I think you proved it,good video.I miss my 44.

I am left handed, but in 1995 my left arm was injured, and in a sling for 8 months, so I practiced every day right handed, when the sling came off I bought a second pistol, now I buy all my pistols in matched pairs

Well mate if your intent is to repel a burglar in yr home then standing face on to him will give him a broad easy target to shoot at, better to stand side on carefully holding one gun with both hands and concealing yr body behind a wall..then shoot the shit outta them.
gasgasLex 4 years ago
I have no intention of repelling a burgular with a pistol :-) I have a 10 GA 20" double barrel for that.
zmadpoet8 4 years ago
....10 gauge......I think that deserves a ROWDY HOWDY HIGH FIVE!
