As you can see "Bewitched" was a VERY different show in the earliest says. It had slapstick comedy, but it also had a lot of heart, as we can see in this heartwarming episode. It seems that, in time, the tone changed and the show got much more slapstick, and more cartoony, with fewer heart touching moments.
Look at seasons 1 and 2, and then seasons 7 and 8. Different as apples and oranges IMO
@sexysagi: I know it's not funny but I think Mrs Kravitz laughing at the kid was her reaction to that kid's mother's attitude. Perhaps the script could have been different if that mother had a more easy-going attitude...
No kidding! Under The first video part of this episode, I posted a comment betting that this kid was related to Jerry Mathers somehow. That's cool to know.
Jimmy Mathers (Marshall) really does look a lot like his brother Jerry Mathers.

I love the sound effects when Sam does spells! Things in the burbs have not changed that much everyone has to try to upstage the other.

Marshall became so pissed off at his mother, that when he grew up he wrote rap records dissing her.

Alice Pearce is always very good as Mrs. Kravitz, thoujgh I like the understated Gladys that we see in this episode.

Love Alice Pearce as Mrs. Kravitz. Much better then Sandra Gould. Darren Is asking Samantha some valid questions.

Laughing at a childs shyness isn't funny. Mrs Kravitz should've known that and not had laughed at Marshall.

Great episode! The little boy who plays Marshal is the brother of Jerry Mathers! Does anyone know his first name?

Jimmy Mathers. Ten years old at the time, from the looks of it. Jerry was 14.
