hmm, i think my power supply might be the reason that i cant run this game on maximums, because i have:

amd athlon 64x2 5000+

2GB ddr2 ram, and 4gb readyboost

windows vista sp2 32-bit

9600GT 650Mhz core clock, i dont know the rest.

and i only ever run it on 1280x1024

but i only have a 250w power supply, do you think if i upgrade my power supply it will increase my graphics card's performance???

It might be why, but anyways im pretty sure you need a better power supply with those computer specs, depending on how good your 2 GBs of ram is, it should run pretty well

Depending on your screen resolution.. if you run 1200 x 1000 you'll prolly get to run it at max, but more than that im not so sure about

Something must be wrong with my computer :P I'm running an e8400 at 3.6ghz, SLI 8800gt 512mb, 4gb 800mhz, and at 1680x1050 I can only play on medium/high settings.

Gainward 9600GT is faster and probably better than Asus 9600GT, but Asus 9600GT (as far as I can see out of the information I found) got VGA, S-video and HDTV plugins which Gainward doesn't have

No, I haven't overclocked it yet.. Its running on Core Clock: 700 MHz, Memory Clock: 1000 MHz, and Shader Clock: 1750 MHz
