We had one, he was my first play buddy when I was just one year old and he was quite intelligent and friendly. They didn't even have to put a porc chop around my neck :DDD

these dogs go under the radar, i say that because they never back down in a fight, its as if its in their blood to fight, they also got one hell off a bite i know this because my friend as one and i own a EBT, they are stronger than they look to and have fucking huge teeth, probably the biggest teeth i've ever seen on a dog. if you think their nice cuddly happy dogs, that are friendly with every thing you might be in for a shock.

@thehomefront No offense but sounds like bullshit to me. Airdales aren't very big, and don't look very strong. They dont have a very sturdy body on them.

And as for their bite. They have a long, narrow head. I doubt they have a strong bite :P. I've never met one so wouldn't know, but I'm just judging by their looks and history.

@thehomefront I have much to learn? Now your making me feel like a student who barely knows anything lol. Without bragging, I know a fair bit about dog breeds in general. The Airedale is a breed I never bothered to read about, simply because it looks like a shit breed, no offense you guys.

@thehomefront thats why i say they are a dark horse and go under the radar, there used as protection dogs, now think, why do people use airdale terriers to do protection work when they can use GSD. airdale terriers were used along side GSD dogs in ww1 and ww2 they were also police dogs, until the police decided to go with the GSD because it looked more menaceing, never judge a book by its cover. i'm affraid i can not move you on to the next level as you still have much to learn, be patient lol
