The 1st part of this video should be an apology to members for failing to listen to us, for twisting the result of the anti-NAMA vote in Athlone, for concluding too late that you were contributing to a rotten government, and for letting down the Irish public. If you apologize you will be forgiven by most members. If you behave like a FF politician, and refuse an outright, sincere and contrite apology, you will not find the green members any more forgiving of you than if you were in FF.

I believe their is a future for the Irish Green party. We cannot allow environmentalism or policies linked to the green party to die in Ireland. Banning Fox hunting was a triumph but the green party needs to be more aggressive without being militant. Linking the party with those in Britian and France is the wave of future.

I'm living in Germany right now where the Green Party are experiencing alot of popularity. They have a message that is relevant AND Green. I think the Irish Green Party was honest and principled, but did not make itself relevant to the discussions happening in Ireland when they were in Government. Hopefully whoever is the next leader can do that, because I know a strong Green Party would be good for Ireland.

You couldn't fill Croke Park if you assembled every first pref voter for #ge11 who voted Green there. GP abandoned the people of Ireland. It will be a long time before you are forgiven for dishing out hardship on the people of Ireland Eamon.
