You have a lot of skill. Abstract because usually that term does usually mean non reprosentational. But none the less who cares about what it is called. I think that if you had mixed paints rather than use them from tube you might see a big difference. tints shades, hues plying with how colors interact -creats a better aesthetic. I am learning too and do paint abstract a lot taking my color knowledge from color field painters so that is my prejudice. Good Luck.

@screamingshadows19 this isn't an abstract painting... it just happens to have abstract in the title because it is an "abstract" landscape. abstracts usually don't have form to them but this has both form and structure.
@ProfessorCWI you talk alot of crap, this is surely a abstract painting, i can show you many kinds of abstract paintings from picasso to karel appel thats filled with faces and figures and forms
