This was the only season that a few episodes used fading credits as opposed to the standard flash credits that most other action series used in the 1980s, such as Magnum, P.I. and Simon and Simon.

No they left them intact on the DVD's

The 1st season with the "In Association With" screen after the Rich/Winkler Productions logo.
Also, the first season w/ the slightly different fonts for the credits.
