i cant have chickens cuz of my hoa. wondering if i could make something work with chicken diapers and keeping them indoors. i want them for eggs but also pets. you should really start selling some chicken clothing on ebay or at least the patterns.

..I love it!!.. had a baby chicken once.. my grandma made a little santa clause outfit for him... but when she put it on him...he went lymph!! we thought he was dead!! but we took it off of him and he perked up! then again we put it on him ...dead...and then we took it off and again he went up.. i guess he couldn't handle the humiliation...=P

Adorable. I have a pet goose in the house, she is just lovely, brings me joy every single day. I was wondering about keeping chickens. I think the mess would be easier to keep up on. One day, I'm going to keep a silkie in the house - I just hatched some chicks and it is SO tempting to keep one, but a goose is quite enough as it is, for now. :)

I love this totally original idea of keeping chickens as pets INDOORS and dressing them up in a diaper/outfit. Pls email me on how-to's where cleanup is concerned. I suppose there is a disposable lining somehow? Robin in NC (I have 2 outdoor hens.)

Well Thank you. If you want them to be loving and sweet. Treat them gentley all the time like you would your own baby. Never scare them or give them any reason to be afraid and they will be just like a pet dog except better. They will acually come to you when you call them.

Oh My Gosh!! I love your videos! I am considering a Silkie hen as a pet and I wonder what kind of advice you'd give me... as a kid we had chickens, and some would come into our house, so my love runs deep...Now that I'm in my early 40's I want to re-create that feeling again. I love animals and have lots of pets already- do you have any advice? and by the way, If this does happen, I'd love to buy a custom made diaper from you... :)

Love those! You do need to open a store - let me know when you do! Please make turkey size too - my turkeys have to go outside after they reach a certain size but with diapers I could keep my pets in the house.

Measure from the base of the neck to the vent on both birds. Measure in between the legs and measure base of the back of the neck to the base of the tale. This way I can compare it with mine and go from there. Unfortunatly they have to fit the bird just right. If it is to loose they will stick their feet in it. if it is too tight it makes the bag get to close to their vent which means not enough pooping room and you don't want the elastic to be to tight. It's uncomfortable for the bird.
