I know! They rock harder then anyone, im a HUGE fan as well. Ive never really listened to the who, im know you probably thinking "what?!?!", but i havent. Im more into rush, van halen, and maiden.

thats cool. they put on the best show ever, theyre insane! and yeah geddy lee and john entwistle are my idols for bass playing, i would go to a who concert, but without john i think a big chunk of what makes their music come alive for me is gone

I hate it when bass players use picks, im sorry. Sure it sounds a little different, but i think part of being a bass player is playing with your fingers and not a pick.

i totally agree, and im starting to use my fingers more often and lots better, i might redo this video, and i do like finger tone more than pick tone

Thats good, Ive been playing bass for 3-4 years, im 16. And your pretty good. Keep it up, nice bass by the way. Im going to be getting a fender in a couple weeks

Yea, i know it will. Definatley getting the Geddy edition, the neck on that bass is incredible, as well as the tone....cant wait to get it.

yeha i was just 200 $ short of getting the geddy edition, instead i got this and a marshall amp, i might get the ged edition for christmas...hmmmm

yeha i am a die hard rush fan, ive been to 2 concerts of theirs and the last one i went to, i was in the front row...you dont even KNOW the excitement i ahd and how close to heaven i felt :D

i dont believe this bull about "oh a pick makes a bass sound bad" like ive heard from about 20 people, i just think it opens a whole new variety of sounds! its like saying using ur fingers on a guitar sounds like shit (which it doesn't), just thought id say that cuz i use both pick and fingers...

yeah, i just use a pick because it opens up alot of different sounds

plus i like to hit the string to silent it, not just hold it down, and with pick that adds a "thwump" that i like to make for beatkeeping

but all that aside- how is my playing?

yeah, i just playted guitar b4 i played bass so a pick is mroe sued to me, but i do think using fingers makes it sound 100% better and beefier
