I think the Imam (PBUH) will be coming 500 years from now. this is because we know that God swt made two convenants; one with jews via Issac and one with arabs via Ismael. The Jews had 2000 years before their convenant was replaced by islam. And islam has lasted for 1400-1500 years. So using the same time frame the finality of our covenant should come after another 500, after we too reach our 2000 year count; hence that's when the Imam (PBUH) will come. I've read that Imam al-Mahdi will appear in the East(Khorosan) which is now Afghanistan,why are all these Countries"sending"troops and many hav also fought against Afghanistan,USA,UK,China,Russia,Mongolia etc. WHY?

imam al mahdi is not the true prophet! he is not even a prophet! pbuh means "peace be upon him!" u can only say this about prophets wen they are deceased or not on earth anymore. i dont think u are capable of "clarifying" people...

to everyone: the Mahdi is classified into 3 sides,a metaphor. The first one is an "unseen force"(Divine),second is bodies which are preparing for his arrival,and lastly,the person al-Mahdi himself.
The same applies for the Zion(anti-Christ Dajjal). no he wasn't there are hadith even by Imam Ali that say St. Paul (Saul) was a dajjal who kidnapped and corrupted the Isa's message thus leading to christianity today. Some of our hadith even place him in hell

salam, Allah swta said to prophet S.A.W i will give your ummah 1 half days 2 live, 1 haf days is Allah years 1500 years the time when prophet s.a.w came down untill now wer in the 1429 hijri or 1430 what ever and scolars have said this ummah will not go passed 1500 hijr you so time is near 4 the mehdi A.S 2 come my shayk is his genral he is out he will come in about 3 years time, you can also see end of time harun yahyah website he talks about this 2. wahabis dont wnat the mehdi A.S 2 come.

I think the Imam (PBUH) will be coming 500 years from now. this is because we know that God swt made two convenants; one with jews via Issac and one with arabs via Ismael. The Jews had 2000 years before their convenant was replaced by islam. And islam has lasted for 1400-1500 years. So using the same time frame the finality of our covenant should come after another 500, after we too reach our 2000 year count; hence that's when the Imam (PBUH) will come. So no he aint coming in our lifetimes

I read that al mahdi's birth was 15th shaban,which is the equivilent to august 16th 2008!and now that allah has him in hiding till its the right time for his grande return along with jesus christ.
I believe that president mahmoud ahmadinejad of iran said that imam mahdi will return with jesus christ!(this vide is in a UN speech you will find it on youtube)
