Why is everyone complaining about the entire X series. I recently got X8 and I really enjoyed it, not to mention I love the classic Megaman X games, and no matter what your opinion is I liked X6, I never played X7 but I saw my friend played it for me (I Had a broken arm at the time) and I saw it, ut was amazing and X8 definitely a personal fave.
I also agree with megamanlover100 that people only care for looks. Games are meant to be fun.

poor pseudofans who got stuck in old generations. Even if you don't like the red cool guy not being the spotlight, Maverick Hunter was also a son of this game and was very good. People who claim 16 or 32 bits are better , just didn't play this obectively

my opinion is the armor, back then the armor was like fucking fantastic, now its just the same shit, with different color scheme, so what i would like to happen, for x9 (if possible) 3d gameplay(x8 style not x7) a good storyline, and some kick ass armors, those slim armors arent that appealing, im just sayin
@gagoman68 it has several missing spots, aside from stairs. As you mention it, from light to force armor were a huge boost and a change of gameplay; flacon, gaea, shadow and blade were specialities, almost a new character. Glide and Neutral are the same X, just a bit faster or stronger and that feels just wrong. For a first try, it was ok, also note that it is incomplete; in the pc version there are soundfiles for the guys acting as Navigator.
People underate this game, probably because x7 badfamed the franchise, yes megaman x after x4 went down alittle, but you cant deny x5 x6 AND x8 were great games, x7 was just bad, for a megaman game, was really weak, but x8 came back fully 2d side scrolling, with many playable characters, nice cut scenes and was a real deep game, donno why people bitch about it, was totaly worth and im sad we havent got a x9 yet..

It's a pitty the gameplay is crap. This series died with the release of X5, 4 was the last good X game. But atleast we have the 4 Megaman Zero games to enjoy & help us remember what make the Megaman franchise great...now release Megaman Zero 5 & Megaman Legends 3 on 3DS already Capcom!!!!!

@YoYoKirby1 you dont realize this man, i love every megaman x games even x7 but EVERY 32 bit game they made was amazing including x6 but my favorite was x5 im 14 years old and i played x5 when i was 7 so that brings back good memories but x6 played a good part in the series to these games got me to love the series ive played every game and beaten them.
