They save what 50 whales a season, and that's max compared to the thousands they are taking. I think that whalesare very beautiful creatures. We should do all we can too save them. I however don't think that if we don't save them that we will have no ocean but, the ocean would be diffrent. The whales that are out there are suffering and we should do all we can too save them. I love all animals and I don't think we should spend all of our attention on them but about all the animals. I also love trees so we should save them. That is just me. If you don't agree it's fine with me.

Either way, what can 10 million do to stop the ships from hunting whales altogether NOW. What will it take.?pictures, killing the whalers, killing all the whales in the oceans.
The way I see it is The Japanese Research ship is another name for poachers. So theres 5 ships out in the Artic hunting 10 whales a wk for 6 months. = 1200 whales. It's like hunting in the forest of Kenya, There are only 4,000 white rhinos and there are 5 hunters out ot do research. Who is there to uphold the law..? Yeah, that's what I thought. Sure whatever approach doesn't involve potentially sinking two ships in the middle of nowhere would be a good start.
Attack their boat in a port if you want to sabotage it. Perform guerrilla political actions to get the laws changed to not allow the bs research. A bunch of incompetents ramming ships is the chicken way out and ultimately does more harm than good as it builds more support for the whalers. The money spent on this boat could fund a vast amount of more effective strategies.

I think that whalesare very beautiful creatures. We should do all we can too save them. I however don't think that if we don't save them that we will have no ocean but, the ocean would be diffrent. The whales that are out there are suffering and we should do all we can too save them. I love all animals and I don't think we should spend all of our attention on them but about all the animals. I also love trees so we should save them. That is just me. If you don't agree it's fine with me.

I think we should kill all the elephants in this world tfor their meat and ivory. whales are three to four time bigger than elephants and that's exactly what will happen to them if we dont do anything. There was a time when the elephants were almost wiped out for their meat and ivory. it also happened to the gorrilas few scientists lost their lives to draw the world to the plight of these animals. whales were almost hunted to extinction and despite calls by japan,norway and russia to resume whaling the population of those animals have not recovered enough for a sustainable hunting of those animals. We now know it's wrong to kill elephants and gorrilas but the slaughter of whales continues.

Another approach that would unite Greenpeace, Sea shepards, the rest of the world (otherthen japanese whalers). To interact and actual impact the hunters. Can a group of 500,000 people make a differents, or does it have to be a group of 10,000,000 people to make a differents.? Either way, what can 10 million do to stop the ships from hunting whales altogether NOW. What will it take.?pictures, killing the whalers, killing all the whales in the oceans.

The way I see it is The Japanese Research ship is another name for poachers. So theres 5 ships out in the Artic hunting 10 whales a wk for 6 months. = 1200 whales. It's like hunting in the forest of Kenya, There are only 4,000 white rhinos and there are 5 hunters out ot do research. Who is there to uphold the law..? Yeah, that's what I thought. Sure whatever approach doesn't involve potentially sinking two ships in the middle of nowhere would be a good start.
Attack their boat in a port if you want to sabotage it. Perform guerrilla political actions to get the laws changed to not allow the bs research. A bunch of incompetents ramming ships is the chicken way out and ultimately does more harm than good as it builds more support for the whalers. The money spent on this boat could fund a vast amount of more effective strategies.

Yeah I know that's why "research" was in quotes. If they have a "right" do do that then all the gun crazies that think the government is coming to get them and shoot people over their irrational fear have the same right as does anyone that does any violent act that they internally justify for whatever reason.
If someone you love was the victim of some violent act justified by whatever point of view the attacker had you would be OK with that? I doubt it.

If the "research" vessels have a quota of whales they are allowed how does this save any of them? Make them work harder and take longer sure but if they are going to kill xxx whales per year they are still going to do it aren't they? You can still think it's worth it as part of a bigger cause but I doubt it saves any whales.

First of all, since the ocean covers 71% of the world's surface, compounded with global warming and the melting of the icebergs, I doubt "there won't be a sea to speak of" anytime soon.
And as for violence? Obviously on the part of Sea Shepard who engage the whaling ships by ramming them and lobbing stink bombs.

The ocean is being destroyed at an alarming rate by man, If you support greenpeace you should know this but you dont. Even green Peace would be alarmed at your comment.
