The Malta Historic Vehicle Trust is putting up a museum that will include malta buses. We intend to save rare buses that are currently in scrap yards, restore them and hopefully return to the road as classic. You are right about the music going off beat in the middle. This was one of the first videos we put together. It was a great learning experience - discovering how to use a digital camcorder, to edit and to add music.

Now that Malta is in the EU these old Malta buses days are numbered and are now being replaced. I have fond memories of them and part of me will miss them and part of me wont. These days health & safety is (rightly) paramount. Only wish they could change the grumpy, rude attitude of some of the drivers!

(They better watch out, the Eastern Europeans are coming, soon it will be like the UK and our MANY Polish bus drivers)

the maltese gov't had a good idea...they didnt waste money on constructing new theme parks...they just use the busses :) The busses in malta ARE awesome..the paint jobs are sick, and they're not billboarded with all those annoying bloody ads. if anything, it will be covered with pics of Jesus, the Virgin Mary, the Sacred Heart, Rosaries...all the Catholic stuff :D cant wait 2 go this summer :D
