Group is the group that image belongs too. Group 0 is for standing sprites. Group 0 Image 0, Image 1, Image 2, then next is Group 5 for turning sprites. Group 5 Images 0, Image 1, Image 2, and so on.

Not to be rude, but you have to take this down man. Elecbyte Player is very buggy, and most FF don't have it anymore, because of that. It took years to get it off completely.

@MrLoveLounge That's a different subject in its own right. To create your own character for games is what's widely known as "spriting". You can find info about it on google (try googling "sprite tutorials" or something) it doing it is both, easy and hard at the same time. All you need is the paint program that all computers have, but you need some artistic ability for it.(which is the hard part I mentioned.). You can edit existing sprites or you can make your own from scratch.

That means that you don't have a first image. You need at least one image, then you can add the BMPs to save :D

But on mugenguild I asked PCX or BMP They said PCX never BMP because the give you errors

i found that its the opposite way around, i have had TONES of errors loading pcx into the palette. when loading a bmp all you do is take the colour info from it with optimize then after you add the bmp(s) to the insert palette section the engine converts to pcx anyway.

when ever I finished optimizing, and have saved the act file, when I load my sprites that were saved in the insert palettes section, some of them are fine others just screw up, like the colour goes all funny and the image is duplicated and warped? why is this? i followed your tutorial EXACTLY
