At 4:56...where'd that sample scratch come from....it's a classic rock song....along the lines of Pink Floyd or somebody liek that...anybody ever find out, lemme know, ya dig??
There's so much more that I'm gonna upload. I was there in parks seeing hip hop before it hit the radio. I'm glad I can share my history with other people. I've seen so many old school groups perform and it was amazing.
@NYOLSKOOL i know this, i listened to this on my headphones before i fell asleep and wished it was me and my crew. we did the turntable orchestra thing here in texas .i wish we would have kept it up .
@palomino13 yeah i thought this was a lost gem...was peepn scorpio and i see mrpower328 talking about this song samplin scorpio. so i told him im lookin for this joint for 2 months..haha..next day he u/l this. Ive seen Kurtis perform a bunch of times in `83-86...he def allowed DJ to take center stage when he performed..
@NYOLSKOOL all i had was records. im from west texas and dreamed of new york.i wish i could have seen some badass shows in the eightees. i did get to see rockmaster scott but that wasnt no davy d. mixmaster ice or anyone huh? hope to see more uploads and thanks for keeping hip hop alive.
@palomino13 i dont upload records..i just pick the ones that i remember..all b4 `87..and best show i seen back in tha day was run-dmc at this club called danceteria in late `84. shit was crazy cause it was a small venue and the place was packed. i remember peeps passing out cause of the heat. it was winter and a bunch of peeps had to represent w/ their bombers and snork jackets. fools. they had to stop show.
reminds me of richie rich on kiss fm (uk) on saturday afternoons

Trivia: Do you know where they got the "Daay-vee" melody from? Only the OLD old schoolers will know this one.
Hint: Sunday mornings.
