  • too bad theres no more sideshows & these youngstas dont know how to jus hav fun

  • This is where the Exec's at Priority Records got the idea to make the N.W.A 'Gangsta' look....as 415 was a group 1-2 years before N.W.A. formed ...

  • @FRISCOP1 N.W.A was formed in 86.....I love 415 ..but to say they were the "gansta" inspiration for N.W.A. is silly....no rapper was gansta in 84-85...the first 'gansta" looking rapper I would have to say was Ice T......he dropped 6 in the mornin in 1986.....

  • Way back in the day, the dubbs wasnt even reppin. About early 90's was when the dubbs was first called "the twomps". Top of the Twomps was Deep East.

  • 20's been reppin especially 2-6 mob cuz!

in 89, we was deep! we had the 23rd shirts and all that in big numbers. and 14 th ave.we was making noteable silent moves! where u from ?

  • u probably from B-town claiming ESO . and u sure didnt go to "Roose" the twomps was more like mid nineties when we was at O-high! u probably went to Fremont or Skyline......

  • Whats up babygirl!

  • The dopest song to ever come out of the bay area, period! Before the hyphy junk, it was all about 415-41Fivin'. Before the sideshow got stupid by the youngsters, it was the place to go in Oakland and tear up your ride.

  • this is the sample from traxxamillion n too shorts "sideshow"...i prefer this version.

  • Hell yeah, grew up on this album. SO fucking good.

  • LOVE IT!!!!!!!

  • YO, POST LAVISH!

    -StoicUNO!

  • this is were the yay really started to spit that thuf shit

  • Back in the 80's most of the bay was 415, shit 510 of 650 didn't exist until the '90's. old bay cats from Oakland to EPA know what i'm talking about.

  • Sac-Town Sacramento,Ca knows too!

    -Stosa!

  • Man I was going to Seaside High when this came out. 415 was the shit. I love the BAY. Their own underground that never stops. No one else in the US has the independant game like the bay. Texas is number 2 with independants

  • Seaside rep yo shit nigga. Much love from the YAY...

  • This is a good song but to say its the best rap song ever is one of the most rediculous things I have ever heard.

  • Well if you lived in the East O during that period, I can see why something like that would be said.

But other than that, I agree.

  • I grew up in the bay too homie, and you know what?everyone has there own favorite song.I was wrong to say that. This song is sick and if it's your favorite...REPRESENT!!!!

  • Down Bancroft

  • Thanks buddy!

  • This my shit!!!! Tight post!!!

  • no homo!!

  • OOOOHHHH NOOOOOO! HEEYYY this is my cut. Eventhough I have not lived in Oakland in years, but I remember this jam, and the sideshows at 73rd/Macarthur (Eastmont),then on Hegenberger. Guys so lovely. BTW this is sampled intro "Sideshow" by Blue Magic and EWF "Sunshine" from the Gratitude album. HEEEEYYY! Classic!

  • I appreciate the sample shout out, been looking for the original sample for years. Kurupt used it years after 415 did but he didn;t give sample credits because they replayed it. Much love and appreciation for this.

  • Ur welcome I know my old school which is still the NEW school, and it should ALWAYS be respected and never have an expiration date in HipHop/Rap as long as it is sampled and selling records!

  • damn hot classic! richie rich iz a livin legend!!
