@xPuertoxRican one marines arent in afghanistan, their in iraq, and 2 if your joining you dont get told your being deployed anywhere not until after your boot camp stint

@kidman1987 before you go all internet BAMF on me, let me rephrase what i said. I am a United States Marine, I'm slated to go to Afghanistan in mid-September. What I am telling you is the main force in Afghanistan are Marines, not saying that the Army isn't there. The Army is the main body in Iraq right. So before you go calling people names over the internet maybe you should think about the point they are trying to make. I hope your brother in law returns safely. Best wishes,

@E3ZUSMC he didnt return safely, he returned alive but not the way we hoped, just got home last weekend brought back to knox, caught shrapnel in his stomach n legs hes waiting on medical discharge now has to remain in hospital til full recovery, hopefully you dont gotta go but if you do you come home safely to your loved ones

thank you for this contribution it means a lot i know this vidio was dedicated to a spacific person.. but i served 4 tours 3 in iraq and one in afganistan with 1st SF at fort lewis WA state and i am being called back out i have to go back to afganistan in 3 weeks and my family has nothing to do with me and me watching this vidio gives me the realization that people actually do care for those of us that serve!! thank you so much for your recognization of those who give some and some who give all

@fobos2006 well let me tell you that us US soldiers are proud to serve next to the spanish and other coalition forces overseas. I'm headin to Afghanistan in a couple months and am going to be under Spanish and Italian commands.

@madman1813 Thank you for that. My son is over there. Whenever I see a member of our military I say Thank you and shake their hand. I'll buy them lunch or a drink for the plane because somewhere at some point a kind person has done the same for my son. When people see our soldiers I hope they also see that they are someone's son or daughter and threats them that way. Without them we wouldn't have our wonderful country.
