  • 1:36 he was about to break into the falsetto and thought "nope, not gonna happen" and dropped down on the fly. nice!

  • don't do drugs!

  • Broderick Crawford!

  • Tragic really: All that musical genius constrained by an unbound mind. He looks so tightly wrapped here you just feel for him,

  • Truly a diff time.

  • contrast this performance in 1976 with 1966

  • @alexandertarangerkin the knebworth proformance 1980 blows both of them out of the water

  • @runnersdialzero333

just interesting to compare his different view of himself as a musician in 76 compared to 66 (or maybe very late 65) when it was recorded in a baroque style like Pet Sounds and Today, here he reinvents it into a 'rock' song as brian actively tried to get a deeper voice, so it is slightly intended by him to be off-key and rought, he didnt give a darn!

  • "Ok thank you". Only Brian can get away with leaving whenever he wants. So cool.

  • @madahpesojnothgual he actually did that because the stupid band of the show didn't stop when they should've.

  • love his voice and this song. Thanks for posting this interview and these songs from an amazing man and his multi-talents. He has had alot of pain in his life and hopefully he is better now.

  • Sure his falsetto's great but i always liked Brians gruff voice. Its cool.

  • @balddanny72 wow!! wonderfull detail! the bass solo on piano! brian= genius!!

  • yeah, let's have him sing a song originally recorded with like 6 different vocal parts and one of the better backing bands ever solo, on piano, with a backing band that couldn't be bothered to learn anything past the basic chords. i'm sure he'll be very comfortable and sound great.

  • I would assume it was Brian's choice what he played. It would be a daunting choice for sure, but he did quite well.

  • Love his voice ! -Yeyea.

  • nothin wrong with being funny!

  • brian at that time was distroyed but he is i great music player, he trayed to make his make performance, live to the genius brian wilson

  • Poor Brian, off time at parts, but doing a nice job nonetheless. Thanks for posting!
