I got so much respect for David Tua. He is the most humblest person i've ever met. I love MMA and UFC but those guys are nowhere compared to Pro boxers when it comes to punching. Best of HW MMA/UFC vs any of the top 5 HW pro boxer in stand up... boxer hands down. Its like you saying who kicks harder... a boxer or kick boxer... wtf. The only one I think that could take on Tua and maybe win is Mark Hunt.

I would put it like this.....Tua's left hook hit harder than Tyson's left hook, but Tyson's right hit harder than Tua's right......but the best people to finally settle this question would be to survey the boxers who fought both fighters. And even then, it wouldn't be that accurate, as Tyson was in his prime in an earlier era than Tua's prime. Anyway, both Tua and Tyson masters of power punches.

@MRPric3LEss Dont be so sure. i will agree 100% that as far as technique hell yeah boxer wins. more discipline and time mastering one art, but power is something that is given naturally whether your a boxer, cagefighter or whatever else.
as far as lucia and cyborg i say its about even. If you look at their record rijker is 17-0 with 14 ko's in boxing and shes 37-0 with 25 kos in kickboxing, Cyborg is 10-1 with 8 Ko's in mma, the lone loss by submission. technique yea rjker, but power isequal

And, Scrap Iron never had a punch like Tua and was slower. Also Frazier vs George Chuvalo, Oscar Bonavena, Joe Bugner and Floyd (Jumbo) Cummings? Tyson is a question mark at best. Not only that but tua is 50 kgs heavier which is almost literally twice the size of mayweather. That is the reason they have weight classes, so little peasants like mayweather can fight without getting murdered. it wouldnt be a fight, it would be an execution
