The music had so much character and musicians focused more on the melodies back then. Most video game scores sound quite generic these days and I'd really struggle to tell them apart.
@wadehjb This is because they were made in the 80's and these musicians were influenced by the music around them at the time. The 80's was the synth era, if you listen to pop music from the 80's the majority of stuff had melodies, even in 80's rock it pretty much always had some lead guitar melody or solo as the main feature. Music today doesn't have this as the fashion now days in minimal. Although we are long overdue for a change in style.
2 dislikes ? must be 1 for Sony 1 for Microsoft because they are utterly pissed that they can't make games or music like the Amiga could produce. 3rd dislike will be from Nintendo shortly.....
OMG you just brought back an awfull school memory they made us all sing into tape recorders and then played everyones song in asembly to abouut 150 people we sung war never been so mch fun from cannon fodder PMSL
I remember the A500, when you wanted more RAM, you had to drill a hole into the plastic, for the on and off switch of the extra RAM module. Brilliant. I miss mine now lol. Thanks. Bastards! :P
The Amiga was the best computer for many years, like my friend said "Too bad they didn't develop it further instead of the PC, then we would have much better computers today".
1990; I was 10 years old and was invited round my mate's brother's house, where we sat and played on his Amiga all day long. God, I remember being absolutely blown over by the intro to "Blood Money" - that tune will always stay with me!
At that time, to me, the Amiga had an almost unreal, God-like quality to it, I just loved it! What a great machine it was.
Yes you probably could do it with an emulator or by hardware, yes there is i386 hardware dotherboard for the A4000 but they are rare. The emu will try to run an 286 if I remember correct if you got a 030 turbocard like the Blizzard 1230IV or similar installed.

@leerees Great point and I totally agree.
Music today seems to be an industry controlled by record companies rather than by genuine musicians.
