I just confirmed that the emulsion is light sencitve the whole time so never open your emulsion under normal light untill you expose it on a screen. ONce the image is washed out and you are ready to print is the emulsion light safe.
Cool But this tape leaves no adheasive thats why I put it on the backside. PLus it sticks better after you fun some ink through. I was using painters tape and it seemed to leave adheasive no matter what I did. As for the emulsion Im not taking chances. lol Thanks for joining my blog.
painters tape works fine no need for expensive tape Note when taping out a part of a design, tape from the inside of the screen so the plastisol does not mix with the adhesive on the tape inside the mesh openings making it hard to clean
the cover for the screen coater is to keep the edge protected from damage
you don't have to worry about exposing the emusion when it is a liquid it doesn't become truely light sensitive until dry
